The aluminum circuit board contains a thin layer of thermally
conductive dielectric material, which has the effect of
transferring heat.

insulated metal substrate (IMS or IMPCB), etc.

The printed circuitry is etched with a 1oz-10oz copper layer to assemble and link the components, which can carry a higher current compared to FR-4.
